Felted Fruit is a psych-rock and psych-folk side project created by Laurie Shaw over the late summer of 2016. It adopts the concept of 30 7 inch records from bygone eras melding into one another via the heat from the sun to form a sprawling, freaked out double LP.

Cuts like Juice, Faith Healer and Honest Nest express galloping, lo-fi abandon, fizzing and spitting with fuzzy guitars whilst Marry Me and Lizards Will Be... slither on their bellies to more organic grooves. The 30-strong LP spills and thrills with zapping melodies and poisonous synths all spin-spin-spinning out of control in two stealthy flying saucers.

Well worth picking up the pink behemoth on wax to receive the full experience as it was meant to be.
