P.S. I Love You P.P.S. We're All Gonna Die (Valentine's Single)

1.
How do you know you're not a brain in a jar? You're alone in the dark Being fed reality Made to think it's sub-par And thoughts that don't go that far Christmases and soap operas Swirl and distract And opinions and facts Keep you in line in your own little mind Where you're inexplicably trapped So taking this as real You're expected to find a mate Die inside fortnightly Then casually pro-create Every month you'll worry If those contraceptives failed Will you be retelling this story When they falsely accuse you and put you in jail? There's psychology essays But what's guaranteed? Does the receptacle agree? One of the two of you Is going to die first Worm's meat or burnt Unless you're taken out in one fell swoop In a terrorist coup Or an asteroid impact Statistically though, one's bound To die all alone Just 'cause they say "I love you" Doesn't mean they're not sociopathic Compulsive liars Or part of some MTV Hidden camera thing Evolutionary-wise, we go after our mothers (and dads) Into the future, guaranteed misunderstandings And reprimands for what are determined habits It's not my fault That characteristics have been Bluetooth-ed to me My hereditary cynicism's Necessary It'll pull me through if you die in a fire without me

about

Special Valentine's Day treat to all you lovers out there

...

Lyrics are thus :::

How do you know you're not a brain in a jar?
You're alone in the dark
Being fed reality
Made to think it's sub-par
And thoughts that don't go that far
Christmases and soap operas
Swirl and distract
And opinions and facts
Keep you in line in your own little mind
Where you're inexplicably trapped

So taking this as real
You're expected to find a mate
Die inside fortnightly
Then casually pro-create
Every month you'll worry
If those contraceptives failed
Will you be retelling this story
When they falsely accuse you and put you in jail?

There's psychology essays
But what's guaranteed?
Does the receptacle agree?
One of the two of you
Is going to die first
Worm's meat or burnt
Unless you're taken out in one fell swoop
In a terrorist coup
Or an asteroid impact
Statistically though, one's bound
To die all alone

Just 'cause they say "I love you"
Doesn't mean they're not sociopathic
Compulsive liars
Or part of some MTV
Hidden camera thing
Evolutionary-wise, we go after our mothers (and dads)
Into the future, guaranteed misunderstandings
And reprimands for what are determined habits
It's not my fault
That characteristics have been Bluetooth-ed to me
My hereditary cynicism's
Necessary
It'll pull me through if you die in a fire without me
